Kids Performing Arts Collective (KPAC)
Empowering and connecting young people
The Cape Cultural Collective’s Kids Performing Arts Collective (KPAC) seeks to empower and connect young people through the performing arts. This group brings together over 30 learners from our partner schools in Athlone, Manenberg, and Gugulethu for weekly sessions on Saturday mornings at the Bridgeville Primary School. Under the guidance of experienced facilitators, the children develop their talents in song, dance, and drama in a supportive, nurturing environment.
True to the CCC’s vision, the programme emphasises diversity and inclusion, with participants singing in English, Afrikaans, and isiXhosa. A dedicated team of parents, teachers, and volunteers help to ensure a safe space for the children to grow in confidence and nurture their skills. This project is a vibrant celebration of ubuntu in action, fostering the next generation of creative performers.
