The Cape Cultural Collective’s Music Training and Development Programme has become a transformative force in the lives of its participants.

Launched in 2021, this innovative initiative takes young people on a magical journey where they learn to play a musical instrument or hone their vocal skills. The CCC pays for skilled music teachers and provides students with an instrument so they can practice between weekly lessons.

More than just learning to play an instrument, this programme fosters confidence, discipline, personal growth and a deeper appreciation for music. Additionally, the programme strives to create employment opportunities for musicians by connecting students with teachers from their own communities.

Currently, there are five students of the programme. There are plans to expand this initiative in the coming years. You can contribute to this amazing programme by donating an instrument or sponsoring a student.
