The Cape Cultural Collective (CCC) Writers Club, established in April 2023, is a dynamic and intergenerational community that has quickly blossomed into a vibrant creative space. It embodies the CCC’s commitment to promoting unity and development through the arts.

The club holds monthly poetry and creative writing workshops on the first Saturday of every month at Mowbray Library.

These sessions often feature renowned guest facilitators who bring their unique energy, skills and insights.

The primary objectives are to foster a supportive community of writers, develop members’ skills, create powerful works that explore social themes, and promote
