This programme, started in 2021, has become very popular. At the heart of it, is to explore the fascinating connection between nature and the arts. Once a month a group of mainly youth experience the natural beauty of the many hikes and trails Cape Town has to offer.

Programme leaders are able to raise awareness of environmental issues, the rich flora, as well as getting a bird’s eye view of the legacy of Cape Town’s apartheid urban planning.

Participants are drawn from Cape Cultural Collestive’s programmes and from community groups in Nyanga, Manenberg and Athlone.
