WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER!
The Cape Cultural Collective is deeply saddened at the passing of our long-time friend and supporter Noel Daniels.
We extend our sincere condolences to his daughter Carla and his family, friends and comrades. We also wish to express our gratitude to all who called and sent messages of sympathy after his passing.
Noel served on the CCC Board for four years, playing a crucial role in the development of the organisation. His participation and support began from the very inception of the CCC in 2007.
He was not just an audience member, though. He actively supported the development of many artists – providing platforms at functions and events and even supporting them financially when times were hard.
For much of his adult life, he was a true patron of arts and culture and a dedicated educationist.
Over the last five years, both the CCC and Cornerstone Institute where he was CEO, saw huge growth. Undoubtedly, Noel’s influence, leadership and inspiration contributed to this progress.
Noel’s larger than life persona, his humour, his friendship, his solidarity and love for the arts has enriched our lives.
His passing leaves a huge gap. We will strive to keep his legacy alive.
